| The president of Belarus has congratulated the people on Day of the
State Emblem and a national flag of Byelorussia which is marked on May,
11th. Lukashenko has wished happiness, the world and well-being. He has noticed, that this holiday
"can be ranked as dates which rally the nation, express strength of
mind and character of the people". "In the state symbolics of our country are embodied adherence of Byelorussians to creative work and social justice. Therefore the today's holiday undoubtedly can be ranked as dates which rally the nation, express strength of mind and character of the people", - it is spoken in a presidential congratulation. According to Alexander Lukashenko, "the Belarus arms and a flag use the deserved respect in any corner of globe". "With these clear and exact symbols sovereign Belarus achieves impressing successes in economy, social sphere, a science, culture and sports", - the Belarus president is assured. "We should live and work so that children and grandsons could be proud of the reached victories and successes, and then have adequately continued a common cause of strengthening of our state, having increased its glory and power", - Alexander Lukashenko has underlined. On May, 14 1995th year in Belarus the referendum which has been initiated by president Alexander Lukashenko has taken place.
