| The first site of the third line of the underground in Minsk in plans
to hand over in work in 2017. The given plans on building of capital
underground chief "Management on building of the Minsk underground" has sounded Vasily Zhibul today at operative meeting in Mingorispolkom. The given site will pass from street Loshitsky through Minsk-city, Zhukovsky, will cross the first line at station "Lenin's area", then through K.Tsetkin and will come to the end at station "Frunze" is there will be metro station "Anniversary". Thus, the first site of the third line will consist of 6 stations and to have extent about 8 km. The building estimated cost is estimated in 1,5 trln BY. Preparation for work will begin in 2010. As has noted Vasily Zhibul, during erection of the third line of a capital underground old houses which are located on an underground course, will be taken down, and tenants - are moved. In total third line will have extent more than 17 km and to consist of 14 stations. It will connect the north and the south of capital with the centre. Underground ways will pass from a ring motorway on Logoysk through transfer knots at metro stations "Frunze", "Lenin's area" and future "Park of Friendship of the people" and will come to the end almost at a ring road in a direction of Slutsk. | |
