The president of Belarus can get on the European Union summit in Bruxelles

The president of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko can be invited
in 2009 to one of the European Union summits in Bruxelles. On it
informs RIA Novosti news agency referring to the Belgian mass-media.
In
particular, such possibility was sounded in a press by the deputy
minister of foreign affairs of Czechia Thomas Pojar who has visited on
October, 24th Belarus with one-day working visit. As he said, the
management of Czechia to which France will transfer rotational
presidency in EU since January, 1st, 2009, considers a variant of
possible participation of the Belarus president in the summit of EU
which 27 plus 6 "— EU member states plus Georgia will pass in a
format", Armenia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus.
Let's
remind, Ministers for Foreign Affairs of the European Union countries
at session in Luxembourg have suspended on October, 13th action of an
interdiction for entrance to Alexander Lukashenko's European Union
countries and 35 Belarus officials on half a year . The decision
on freezing of accounts 40 of the Belarus officials is upheld . In the
list not entrance there were five persons: the head of the Central
Electoral Commission Lydia Yermoshin and four suspected
of participation in political disappearances in 1999-2000 — present
Minister of Internal Affairs Vladimir Naumov, the former state
secretary of Security council Victor Sheiman, the former head of the
Ministry of Internal Affairs Jury Sivakov and the former commander of a
brigade of special troops of internal armies of the Ministry of
Internal Affairs Dmitry Pavlichenko.
A.Lukashenko has been entered in the list not entrance in April, 2006
