From the end of last year the firm imported these phones from China and advanced in the Belarus market.

Manufacture already is formal operates (on specially equipped areas in Minsk) and representsassemblage. The owner of business is the Moscow businessman Alexey Pechenkin realising in Belarus investment projects in sphere of the real estate.

As he has told Interfax, in the Minsk manufacture of mobile phones it is already invested 2 million dollars. By its calculations, satisfactory profitability will be felt at an exit on release volumes in 2 thousand mobile devices a month (thus capacities already now allow to let out about 9 thousand a month). It is not excluded, that production part will be delivered on the Russian market.

Phones of the Belarus assemblage already are on sale in Minsk. From Belarus in them only the Russified software. All accessories for assemblage of phones (including microcircuits) are imported from China. But in the future it is planned to adjust release of telephone cases on Belarus "Thermolayer".

However, it not the first manufacture of mobile phones in the country. In the spring of this year state enterprise "»Ó«¼ßónºý" has surprised the mobile world, having started in sale phones "Evrotef Th". Feature of this model was that it can be used simultaneously as usual wireless and a cellular telephone of standard GSM. And the price of this miracle of the Belarus technics is equaled about 180 dollars.

Though this device also is positioned as the Belarus invention, actually it is developed by company "Hitachi" for German operator Deutsche Telekom. «Hitachi TC300 has got to us with the Russified menu and pair additional labels under the accumulator. Acting on one of meetings, Alexander Lukashenko was indignant, why so «intellectual and high educated the nation» as Belarus cannot make at itself phones for cellular communication and transmitters. «It is necessary to connect domestic industrial potential. Possibilities, I consider, for this purpose is at us considerable. It is necessary to reorientate and adhere only our concrete enterprises to requirements of branch», — has told then the president.

As in a context of manufacture of the Belarus mobile phones the idea has sounded to reduce to minimum import purchases, consumers such prospect has not pleased. Many were frightened, that instead of habitual Nikia and Motorollawill force to use any "Electronics".

Have called into question this idea and experts on which opinion to create from zero competitive in the world the Belarus mobile phone it is impossible. «In Belarus there is no either technical, or a scientific base. This market is so completed, that to the new manufacturer there to enter it is practically impossible», — economist Yaroslav Romanchuk spoke.

There were months and years, and the Belarus mobile phone did not appear. In December the 2007 first deputy minister of communication and information Ivan Rak has declared what to adjust own industrial line of mobile phones in Belarus is inexpedient. As he said, on installation of an industrial line by capacity one million phones would be required to 300 million dollars. «The Belarus market will not consume so much phones, and on a foreign market — a rigid competition which we will not sustain», — recognised the deputy minister.

Variants of assembly manufacture of known marks under the licence were considered. In particular, there was a project on creation of co-production with ZTE, however after the careful analysis has been decided not to develop these projects.

However completely idea to let out phones in Belarus have not refused. However, a maximum, on what while the Belarus technical thought, it to let out devices from import accessories is capable. On such way today there is, for example, "Integral", collecting liquid crystal monitors. Though on it the name of the Belarus enterprise flaunts, directly Belarus there almost anything and is not present.
